The Importance of Pre-K

The time before kindergarten is the years of rapid growth.

Children learn language, early literacy, math understanding, critical thinking, self-regulation, and social competence. During this crucial developmental period, they absorb information like sponges, forming the foundation for future academic and social success. Engaging in diverse experiences and nurturing environments during these formative years can significantly shape their cognitive and emotional development.

Why Little Scholars Academy?

Our high-quality Pre-K program supports children’s holistic development through:

The experiences and abilities gained during Pre-K establish a solid foundation for kindergarten success.

Prekindergarten Curriculum - Learning Through Play

At Little Scholars Academy, our Reggio Emilia-inspired pre-kindergarten curriculum promotes learning through interactive play.

We provide children with everything they need to explore and discover the world around them. Our teachers create a stimulating environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. We design engaging activities tailored to children’s developing abilities and interests.

Play-based learning allows children to gain confidence, independence, and problem solving skills. Academic concepts like math and science are woven into play and other school activities. Outdoor time develops gross motor skills as well. At LSA, we believe that children learn best through hands-on experiences and exploration.
