What do you love about LSA?
“One of my favorite things about working at LSA is what a difference it makes letting the children go at their own pace. I really see a difference with children who learn a little different. Transitions and everything go so much smoother than in a traditional school. Also, I love that we get super messy, I think it is so important for children.”
A note from Sunde:
"Hi, my name is Sunde Barnhardt and I started with LSA in November 2023 as a teacher apprentice. I am originally from Kannapolis and have lived in or around the area most of my life. I now live in Rockwell with my family. I just got married last year AGAIN and have 2 sons who are 9 and 18. I began teaching in 1990. My passion for early education has only grown. As I got older and had children of my own and began to see all kinds of different children I understood that there needed to be different alternatives in teaching. That is why I am excited about LSA and the Reggio Emilia philosophy. I have my early childhood credentials and am currently working on my Associates degree in Early Childhood education. I cannot wait to get to know all the families here at LSA."
