What do you love about LSA?
Hello my name is Eliz Ferreira Kato. I love the respect for the child. At LSA their opinion matters and we listen. We bond with parents, working together as a team to help raising amazing people. We believe every child is capable so we encourage them to be autonomous in all they can be, we have the patience to wait for them to achieve their goals so that way we help them to feel confident, strong and powerful!”
A note from Eliz:
Hello LSA family! I’m Eliz or Cece’s mom, as I was known before starting working at LSA. I’m a physical education teacher, with specialization in exercises for special populations and also I am a Registered behavior technician. My family and I are from Brazil and we also lived in Chile for 3 years.
I’m fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish. I was always passionate about the how human body works which took me to pursue the PE field. When I got pregnant I started to research about early human development, neuroscience and human behavior. That made me realize we should start taking care of the physical and psychological development psychological development of our little ones and from there I could help to create better humans, physically and mentally healthy people that can impact in a positive way our society. In my free time I like to study neuroscience and human behavior, play tennis and travel with my family. I look forward to a great school year! Sincerely, Eliz Ferreira Kata
